merry christmas to everyone! but before we celebrate this significant day, I just want to share a very nice message that I got today.. My dad sent this message to my email.. =) hope you'll take time to read it.. ;)
Dear loved ones,
As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.
It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.
I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .... and I wanted to be with them and share their table.
In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" .. as if the party were in his honor!
At 12 Midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and ... do you know ... no one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.
What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.
Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.
I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party.
I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside.
Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.

let us all be merry this holiday season without ever forgetting the real reason for our celebration.. we must HONOR God and celebrate our Savior's birth.. =) it doesn't matter what material things we have, what gifts we will receive, and what sumptuous food we have on the table, what matters most is that we show love to our family, friends and most especially to Jesus Christ.. after all, He is the very reason for this wonderful celebration.. =)

well, 2 days to go at may pasok na.. I have high hopes for this semester.. I am planning to use my time effectively and productively.. I really hope that I would learn a lot from this sem.. haayyy..
so far, for the last 3weeks that I had for sembreak I had plenty of rest.. I had the luxury to wake up sooo late, chat til the wee hours at night, watch all the shows that I haven't watched for sooo long, spend time with the people I love, movie marathons, foodtrips, go out of town, etc etc. =)
in short, I enjoyed my break.. and now I am ready (I hope) to face another sem of my college life.. hoping it won't be as grueling as the previous one..

well, for the past few days/weeks, i've been sooo lazy to update my blog.. I just kept on reading my friend's page.. ang sipag nilang mgupdate.. =)
well as for me, now I decided to create an entry because my day started bad.. around 5:30am I was awake because of severe pain brought about by my gender.. dysmenorrhea.. damn it! it hurts like HELL! ang masama pa nun, wala ng pain reliever dito sa bahay.. I had to wait until 7am to ask my yaya to go to the nearest drugstore to check if it is already open and buy me anything that can alleviate the pain.. good thing she was able to buy ponstan.. as the pain fades away, I was able to sleep again..
when I woke up, I drank hot choco and watched cartoon network's peppa pig with my niece, gabby.. well, today I am supposed to be somewhere else doing something productive but I have no choice but to stay at home and rest..
after eating lunch, I asked my yaya to go out anf buy me sanitary napkins in the nearby store.. my sister forgot to buy me yesterday when she went to buy groceries.. when my yaya got back from the store, she handed my the napkin and my change.. to my surprise she told me that the napkin costs 44php! damn it!!! talk about OVER as in super OVER PRICING! that is just a pack of 8pads! in supermarkets it roughly costs around 30-35php max! I hope on day someone from DTI would visit that store! If I am just feeling well, I'll go back to the store and complain about it! gggrrr..
i got two more days before my sembreak's over..

ang boring ng past few days ng sembreak ko.. buti na lang today, nag-aya sila france na lumabas.. mervin and france fetched me here at home.. tapos we went to marvin's house.. sinundo din namin siya ng biglaan as in sooper biglaan.. hahaha! =) we headed to shawarmahan at lagro.. pgdating namin closed pa!haha! we waited for a few minutes pa kasi 5:30pm pa pala yun ngoopen, i thought 5pm.. =)
after eating shawarma, pumunta kami sa bahay nila mervz to watch a movie.. una, chainsaw texas choova kea lang we changed it kasi pangit yung copy.. madilim.. we went to the video planet accross mervin's house.. they chose grudge 2.. nyar!
after the movie, ngsiuwian na kami.. thanks to mervin for driving us back home.. =) saya ng bonding naming apat.. =) nice thing to do during sembreaks is to bond with your friends..
few minutes after I got home, my sister arrived.. she asked me to watch sukob with her.. so i was like, ok grudge2 kanina sukob ngayon kamusta naman ang puso ko? =)
i had no choice but to watch it with her.. it was a nice movie.. =) scary tlga! after watching the movie, nakakatawa kami ni ate.. =) we accompany each other wherever we go inside the house.. hahaha! =)
ate easily went into deep sleep.. ako hnd makatulog agad! nyar!
